Student worker

As a student worker at Festival Dining Hall, I worked primarily as a cashier, where I provided friendly and efficient service to hundreds of students, faculty, and guests on a daily basis. My role involved operating the POS system, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and ensuring quick and smooth customer flow during high-traffic meal hours.
In addition to managing transactions, I maintained a clean and organized workspace, followed food safety protocols, and collaborated with team members to support overall dining operations. I also frequently served as a point of contact for customers with questions or issues, helping to resolve concerns with patience and professionalism.
This position helped me strengthen my time management, communication, and customer service skills, all while balancing a demanding academic schedule.
