Summer Sales Intern

At Nova Business Center, a marketing agency representing Verizon, I worked as a Sales Representative handling both business-to-business and face-to-face sales. My main focus was driving customer acquisition and promoting Verizon’s products and services directly to clients, ranging from small business owners to walk-in retail customers.
I developed and executed sales pitches tailored to each client’s needs, helping them identify the right solutions while building rapport and trust quickly. This role strengthened my ability to think on my feet, communicate effectively, and adapt to different personalities and business environments. I also handled objections, closed deals, and followed up with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
This experience taught me how to be resilient in a highly competitive setting and gave me real-world experience in persuasive communication, customer relationship management, and sales strategy.
